The 802 are a rising UK indie/alt duo built around the tight creative partnership of Luca Crosta and Alfie Reeves — two musicians whose bond goes all the way back to the 08:02 train they took to school together, the moment that gave the band its name and its sense of shared identity.

 

Their sound blends indie, alternative, and pop‑rock, driven by raw, emotive vocals, intricate guitar lines, and a chemistry that only comes from years of growing up side‑by‑side. There’s a sincerity to their writing — songs about friendship, temptation, self‑doubt, and the small moments that hit harder than they should — delivered with a live energy that feels intimate and explosive at the same time.

 

On stage, The 802 have built a reputation for tight musicianship and emotional clarity. Their performances at Amersham Arms, Glastonbury’s Emerging Talent Competition, The Britannia, and various Guildford sessions have marked them as one of the most promising young acts in the UK indie scene. Tracks like Temptation, Fields, No Shame, The Chain, and Reason I’m Here have become fan favourites, showcasing their ability to shift from delicate storytelling to full‑throttle indie anthems.

 

With new material emerging through live sets and sessions, The 802 are stepping into a bigger, more confident chapter — a band rooted in friendship, sharpened by the live circuit, and ready to break wider.
