Fronted by award‑winning singer‑songwriter Rob Clamp, the band blends driving rhythms, soaring violin, mandolin, banjo, piano, and rich vocal harmonies to create a sound that moves effortlessly between intimate folk and electrified, foot‑stomping crescendos.

Built around the multi‑instrumental talents of Sam Weeks (drums/banjo), Ben Reid (piano/mandolin/guitar), Ed Bentley (bass) and Dave Elliott (violin/harmonica), The Ashmen bring depth, colour, and a wild, rootsy energy to Rob’s narrative‑driven songs. Their live shows have become known for their dynamic range — from pin‑drop acoustic moments to full‑throttle, loud‑folk finales that feel tailor‑made for festival stages.
