Scottish singer-songwriter Tommy Ashby crafts cinematic folk songs rich with warmth, atmosphere and storytelling.

Drawing on influences from Americana, indie folk and his upbringing in the Scottish Borders, his music combines intimate vocals, lush soundscapes and finely honed songwriting.

A former PhD researcher in spatial audio, Ashby has toured extensively across the UK and Europe and has earned acclaim for his acclaimed album "Lamplighter", earning a growing reputation as one of the UK's most distinctive contemporary folk voices.
